Parkour is an emerging extreme sport on the streets. The domestic sport theoristsof parkour is few and the research on the propagation process of parkour is relativelack of reference in China or on the world. This research based on the backgroundand theoretical situation. Through an extensive literature research and theoreticalanalysis, it focused on the deep study in China to carry out the status, thecommunication process, spread impact factors of parkour. Simultaneous it contrasteddissemination strategy of parkour in foreign country, combined with China’s actualsituation, and analyzed the problems of parkour facing in the domestic disseminationprocess and the causes of them.This search made scientific and rational theories,suggested new methods to achieve the sustainable development of Parkour which canbe learned as a basis theoretical.Through logical analysis of the literature findings, we draw a conclusion thatparkour has a good development trend in our country for the past eight years.Development process in China can be divided into three propagation periods: theintroduction period characterized by imitation; the learning and adjustment periodcharacterized by community organizations; the growth period characterized by contest,commercial performance and training. The spread audience crowd、 forms ofcommunication and dissemination focus of these three periods are different. Parkourin China is now in the growth period characterized by contest、 commercialperformance and training, this is a critical and wandering period in the developmentprocess of parkour, the development trend of this period decides whether can parkourhealthy development in China or not.The development process of parkour in China has a lot of problems. Specifically,performance of its own development、positioning of governmental organizations、awareness of public sports、 sense of community organizations and social mediaawareness issues. These problems led to that there is a certain deviation between thedevelopment direction of currently running cool sports and the original parkour, bothin the spirit and the form of exercise. This is a very serious problem, if can’t beresolved perfect well, parkour will shoot itself in the foot, and turn to the shackles. Strategy of parkour’s development:①Accurate positioning of the governmentand establishment of specialized organizations;②Accelerate the theory constructionof parkour;③Upgrade parkour societies sense of responsibility;④Introduce parkourinto school, create secure sports;⑤Strengthen publicity, correctly guide public senseof participation.
