Educational reform can be promoted by educational informationization.It isultimately realized in how the teachers use information technology in subjectteaching. In this paper,through the analyzing of a high school Chinese teacher byclassroom observation,interviews and teaching reflection,and combined with relevantmaterials and related theory research.We not only have introduced the informationtechnology teaching ability of the Chinese teacher,but also have studied the factorsaffecting the development of his abilities in a depth way.In the same time,accordingto the nature of the case,some advises about how to promote the development ofteachers’ information technology teaching application abilities also have been given.The thesis consists seven chapters:In the first part,the research background ofthe paper,the origin of the question,the research purpose and research meanings aredescribed,the key concepts are defined,and the commentaries of the ability ofdomestic and foreign teachers in IT teaching applications are made;the second part isthe theoretical foundation of this research;the third part interprets the process ofresearch from four aspects:the choice of research approach,the selection of researchobject,the course and method of collecting materials,collection and analysis ofmaterials;in the fourth part,to understanding and tracking the process of the teacher’sability to apply information technology in teaching,the methods of interviewing,classroom observation and analysis of physical goods and so on have been chosen.Inaddition,we also interviewed his colleagues,students,and teachers of the Ministry ofInformation Technology,collecting information in the way of tripartite MutualCertificate;the fifth part analyzes the internal and external factors that influence thedevelopment of subject teacher’s ability of applying informatization technology inteaching;in the sixth part,based on the process of the teacher’s ability to applyinformation technology in teaching and influencing factors of application capabilities,four strategies to promote the subject teachers teaching of information technologyapplication capabilities are advised;in the final part,summaries of this paper are madeand the innovation and limitations of the research are also analyzed.
