The Physics Curriculum Standard of our country attaches great importance to theeducational function of the physics history, which makes teachers start to know theeducational function of the physics history once again. Introducing and penetratingthe physics history into physical teaching has become one of the inevitable trends ofphysical education reform in our country.Based on the scientific education theory and constructivist learning theory,159junior school students and28physics teachers in schools in a certain district ofJiuquan City of Gansu province was chosen to do research of the local teaching statusin penetrating the physics history in physics teaching of junior middle school by themethod of literature review and questionnaire survey. This research mainly containstwo parts. The first part is the content analysis of the physics history in middle schoolphysics textbooks. The second part is a questionnaire survey for students and teachersin different dimensions. Finally, the paper puts forward to the correspondingsuggestions in three aspects: the school manager, teachers and textbook writersaccording to the view of the above results and the combination with the PhysicsCourse Standard of Compulsory Education and the theoretical basis.Analyzing the physics history in the junior school physics textbooks, it can befound that the physics history which appears the most in the textbooks is the scientificresearch process; the physics textbooks attach great importance to the present form ofthe physics history, more than70%of the physics history contents are paired withcorresponding pictures and they appear most times and more details in “readingmaterials” section than other sections, and the history of physics content in text isbriefly introduced; the detail description about the history of physics contents is toofew; meanwhile the education function of physics history is not fully reflected.On the basis of these results, the paper conducts the questionnaire survey forstudents and teachers.The results of the survey are as follows:1, Schools and teacherslack enough attention to the history of physics;2, Most of physics teachers presentlack of the historical data of Physics history;3, Teachers is not powerful enough inpenetrating the physics history;4, Teachers’ teaching method of the penetration of the physics history is single;5, The heavy task and pressure between teachers andstudents have great influence on permeability of physics history.Finally the paper puts forward the corresponding suggestions:1, Construct thesuitable campus cultural environment for penetrating physics history;2, Improve theevaluation system for teachers;3, Give teachers training concerning the physicshistory curriculum;4, Enhance their education attainment about the physics history;5,Optimize teaching structure and design the penetrating way of physics historyreasonably;6, Develop teaching resources of history physics on the basis ofunderstanding students’ interests;7, Attach great importance to the extracurricularreading of students and conduct some special topic lectures;8, The Physics historycontents must fully reflect the education function of physics history;9, Pay attentionto increasing the scientists’ biography and the scientific research methods;10, Writethe reading history books suitable for physics teachers and middle school students.
