Post90’s undergraduates’political beliefs are manifested by their faith in Marxism andCommunism, trust in the Chinese Communist Party and the Government of China, andconfidence in the policy of reform and opening and socialist modernization with Chinesecharacteristics. College students’ political beliefs not only affect the individual’s growth, butalso influence our country’s future and destiny, social development and stability. Therefore, inorder to make them believe in Marxism firmly, strengthening their education in politicalbeliefs becomes meaningful in theory and practice. With the continuous development ofeconomic globalization, political pluralism and information networking, many profoundchanges have taken place in politics, economy, culture and other fields. The agitation of thevarious trends of thought, the cultural shock and conflict of values have arisen, especially thedecadent western capitalism and anti-Chinese thoughts, which corrupt China consistently; When China’s policy of reform and opening is carried out, inequitable distribution, a lack ofcredibility, corruption, inflation and other negative phenomena have come to exist in thesocialist market economy. All of these have influenced contemporary college students’political beliefs unprecedentedly. In addition, they receive comprehensive education which isnot good enough, and Post90’s undergraduates’ own knowledge is inadequate, as well as lackof ability and experience, immaturity in physiology and psychology which cause youngcollege students to lack political beliefs of different levels. This article is set in present international and domestic economy.
