A headteacher is an important role among all teachers, who plays a crucial part in the management of a class. However, there exists a phenomenon of the absence of headteachers in the management of schools. Teachers lack enthusiasm for being headteachers, which is a problem harassing moral education management. This article mainly deals with this problem.The article probes into this problem from 4 aspects.Firstly, the theoretical outlines of the headteachers. This part first presents a general statement of "classes", then the description of "headteachers", with the responsibility and basic principles of the work of headteachers at the end.Secondly, the article probes into the phenomenon of the absence of headteachers and the actualities of headteachers. Start with the definition of "absence", followed by the analysis of theclassification of the absence of headteachers, including congnition absence, spirit absence, action absence, and end with lending an attentive ear to the front line of class through interviews to learn the bewilderment of school administrators and the voice of headteachers, open out the present situations of headteachers, including the high approbation of the value of the work of headteachers, the long work hour and heavy instension, and the imbalance of pay and redound.Thirdly, it probes into the reasons of the absence of headteachers in middle schools. The main reasons include the obsession of social enviroment, the influence of management systems in schools, the lack of management policy, the warp of educational evaluation and the coflict of the role of headteachers themselves.Finally, it ends with the countermeasurement to solve the absence of headteachers. Begin with the reconsideration of the system of headteachers. 1) "The management without a headteacher"—the inspiration of the student management in America .2)"Go without a headteacher"—the inspiration of educational experiment in our country. Come next is the explanation of "Can't go without you"—the reconsideration of headteachers. Finally, "You can do better "—the primary countermeasures to solve the problem of the absence of headteachers, including increasing the moral quality, enhancing the consciousness of responsibility, activating career motivation, innovation of systems, scientific management, creating environmental thrust, improving financial treatment and status, strengthening policy gravitation, providing professional training, reinforcing the study of headteachers to exalt the ability to educate students.
