In 2018,the Ministry of Education issued the "Standards for Chinese Language Curriculum in Ordinary High Schools".The New Curriculum Standards put forward higher requirements for the reading teaching of high school literary works: high school students should have independent reading ability,not only to be able to grasp the text as a whole.It is also necessary to interpret the text from different angles and levels to form a unique reading experience.The traditional fiction teaching mode led by "three elements of fiction" is difficult to meet the requirements of the The New Curriculum Standards.Also,it is difficult to meet the needs of high school students' physical and mental development,so it is urgent to make adjustments.Narrative represents the new direction of the development of contemporary novel theory and is of great significance to the teaching reform of high school novels.Through literature research,comparative research,case study and other methods,this paper explores the role of narratology theory in high school novel teaching from four aspects: narrative voice,narrative perspective,narrative time and narrative structure,in order to provide reference for the teaching reform of high school novels.The basic ideas of thesis writing are as follows: Firstly,briefly review the theory and practice basis of narratology theory to guide the teaching of high schoolnovels;secondly,summarize the significance of narratology theory into the teaching of high school novels;on this basis,explore the narrative voice and narrative separately.The role of perspective,narrative time and narrative structure theory in the teaching of high school novels;finally,the narrative theory is applied to the teaching practice of high school novels.The first chapter: the introduction of theory,defines the core concepts such as narratology;explores the significance of narratology into the teaching of high school novels.Chapter 2: Listening to the sound,listening to the voices of the characters,narrators and authors with the help of narrative sound theory.The third chapter: Focus on the perspective,use the narrative focus theory,examine the perspective,conduct text research,change the perspective,and read the text.Chapter 4:Focus on time,and use the narrative time theory to explore the wrong time,blankness and repetition mystery of the text.The fifth chapter:Analyze the structure,and use the narrative structure theory to analyze the narrative and narrative of the text structure.The sixth chapter:practical application,using the theory of narratology to teach the design of novel texts,taking "Through the wind and snow LinChung goes to the temple to the Mountain of God" and "The Man in a Shell" as an example.
