The Study Of Professionalism In Secondary Vocational Schools

Professionalism is a necessary comprehensive quality, which is useful forcompleting tasks and promoting. Under the background of education, society, andeconomic, the propose of the concept of professionalism partly come from the practicalproblems of vocational students, and partly from the needs of the skilled talents ofenterprises. Over consideration, the topical subject of my research will be theprofessionalism of middle vocational students.For now there is no short of the research of professionalism, but the results and theconclusions are not agreed, what’s more, most of the research are focused on theprofessionalism of undergraduates and high vocational students, as foe the middlevocational students, we put less attention, the analysis and researches are not enoughfor these students. The aim of this research is to verify the predictive powerpsychological quality, professional attitude, and professional spirit to professionalism.According the work of referring to documents, interviewing, and doingquestionnaire survey, I put up hypothesis. Then I found that there are differencesbetween different background middle vocational school students. As forprofessionalism,there is no difference between different gender; for professionalattitude, the rural students are better than city students, the only child is better than noneonly child, the students with wok experience are better than the students with none; forlearning and practice, the student leaders are better than common students. Accordingthe analysis, I found psychological quality, professional attitude, and professional spiritare all have predictive power to professionalism.According to the analysis of the research, I put forward the countermeasures forculturing middle vocational school students’ professionalism. Firstly, set up the platformof curriculum, reinforce the culturing of professionalism for students, secondly, lead theself-education, criterion the professional behavior, thirdly, utilizing society resources,promote cultural fusion of enterprises and school, fourthly, set up examination andevaluation system, make the system classic and scientific. The promotion ofprofessionalism for middle vocational school students need great effort from manypeople. The teachers and schools should put attention to innovation of culturingmethods, helping the students build up professionalism from practice and work, theenterprises should build display platform, providing supports, help students build goodoccupational habits, the society should construct good atmosphere, give more support tostudents, when they get progress in work and practices.
