Adjunct questions are questions add to passage to influence what is learned from thepassage and promote learner depth understanding of a text, appropriate use of adjunctquestions will help improve reading comprehension level of the learners. In recent years, withthe development of information technology and multimedia technology, making learner’s wayof reading from a text read across to the hypertext reading. Therefore, this paper is the studyof the influence of adjunct questions types to text reading in network.This research adopts experimental method.The whole study consists of two experiments.The first experiment adopted a2×2random factorial design with54subjects of graduate.Thesecond experiment adopted single factor completely randomized experimental design with53subjects of graduate.The results show:(1)In the text reading network environment,there are different effects on college students’reading comprehension scores between hypertext group and linear text group.The hypertextgroup is better.In reading comprehension scores, the group with adjunct questions is higherthan the group without adjunct questions.Text types and adjunct questions interaction is notsignificant.(2)The types of adjunct questions affecting different to text reading in network.Themonitoring-comprehending questions group is best.There are no significant differencebetween high-level questions group and fact questions group.
