Application Of Communicative Language Teaching In Secondary Schools In Thailand

A variety of foreign language teaching methods are changed with the changingtimes.Against the age,background and the Chinese level and many other factors of theleaners,foreign language experts research and investigate many kinds of teachingmethods.Based on the research and investigation,I hope from my experimental teaching toinvestigate Chinese teaching methods that apply to Benjamarachalai middle school and eventhe whole Tailand middle school students.As the2013Chinese volunteer in Thailand,Isummarize all the teaching methods during the time I teach in Benjamarachalai School.I thinkthe Communicative approach apply to the Chinese leaners in there.The article analyzes Thai teaching situation and Chinese prospects in Thailand,think theChinese leaners are mainly zero-based leaners,and some university set up Chinese to beobligatory course,but in the most school Chinese is electives,so recently Chinese stundentsincrease slowly.But with the communication of trade and economic between China andThailand is increasing,the Chinese position plays an important role.Thai Ministry ofEducation come to realize the importance of Chinese language teaching,It is anticipated thatin the future,the Chinese language teaching in Thailand will be greatlyimproved.Communicative approach by simulating and creating real scenario provides a goodopportunity to exercise students’ speaking and allows students to speak in a short time.Thispaper describes the content and features of the communicative approach, and the applicationof middle schools in Thailand, analyzes teaching methods which is apply to Thailand Chineseclassroom.
