Gated Communities’ Forming In Our Country And Its Developing Study

As the community of human life, since it was first described, community has experienced several stages of development. With the progress of the times and the promotion of the cities’ construction, a growing number of gated communities now presenting in front of people’s eyes. As a new type of community which existed in the sixties of the last century, gated communities are becoming the main type of community in us country. While the whole country was vigorously developing the gated community, we could not help thinking that was there any opportunities lead to its existence and development and what it would bring to our community’s building. At present, most studies of gated community are in the area of geography, we don’t have too many information of this, and most of them are interested in literature searching. There’s only a little scholar using the sociology view to study how the gated community existed and how it was developing. For this reason, I tried to write an essay about that.In this essay I use the community study method. According to our study object, the Q community in N city, I choose to observe the facts which related to the reality. There are four parts in the essay that studied how the gated community runs in our country. The gated nature in space of gated community was in stark contrast to other community types, and it will have impact on the life of the residents of the gated community. Therefore, in the study of elements of gated community, I selected living space, residents’ intercourse and community involvement as research entry point. To find out why gated community would develop in our country, we must explore the formation mechanism of gated communities. The formation of gated community generally involves the following three points:support of national policy, the development of the market demands and the needs of the community residents. Since the the convenience of the gated community management, the country supports it very much. Under the promotion of the market economy, more and more developers are also involved in the construction of the gated community. However, at the mean time what the gated community was developing, it also brings certain consequences.Gated communities’ characteristics will lead to some problems, but it still is a community type which meets the requirements of China’s social development will. It will be more adapted to our country through changing the management of gated community. The gated community will be long existing here and promote the construction of community.
