At present, Computer software have been widely used in chemistry teaching, so how to select the appropriate software and how to use these softwares in chemistry teaching are the problem concerned and studied among education circles. This paper does some research on ChemDraw, Chem3D, and Ulead Gif Animator5.0in chemistry teaching; it can help us to use this software more skilful. This paper can be divided into five parts:The first part is a introduction of the application status of domestic and foreign computer software in the teaching of chemistry.The second part mainly studies the theoretical basis of application of computer softwares in the teaching of chemistry, including constructivism learning theory and cognitive learning theory learning theories, tries to stimulate about the process of learning these classical learning theory. Some sort of responsiveness, cognitive, inquiry, construction characteristics, the purpose of this is to introduce the process of computer software applications in Teachers’ teaching and students’learning.The third part mainly introduces the ChemDraw software (chemical structure drawing software), Chem3D (molecular simulation analysis software) and Ulead Gif Animator5.0(Animation software), and the basic functions of these three software.In the fourth part, using the reaction of ethanol and sodium metal, the formation process of the c hemical bond, the formation process of the σ bond and n bond in the three part of the knowledge poi nt as the model, with the application of three kinds of software made microscopic reaction process vi deo animation. Objective to explore the application and advantages of software in organic chemistry, inorganic chemistry and structural chemistry teaching.The fifth part makes a survey of the teacher questionnaire and student questionnaire on the application of the three production of courseware in the teaching of Chemistry, through statistical analysis, questionnaire data, evaluated the advantages of these three kinds of software in the practice of chemical teaching.At last, this thesis summarizes the effect of software application of the three kinds of tools in Chemistry Teaching of teachers teaching and students learning.
