Design And Implementation Of The Android Platform College English Listening Learning System

Due to the rapid development of information and computer technology in the era of knowledge economy, the prevailing range of English is more widely throughout the world, being a wide range of international common language.Jawaharlal Nehru (Nehru) said:English is the main window to the outside world. In the increasingly closer cultural exchanges today, English communicative competence has become an important language skills in many areas, more and more people have paid attention, especially in the field of education. However, there is a serious imbalance in collage English teaching.Because of the constraints of the enrollment, classroom, facilities, exam and other factors, there exists an apparent lack of communicative competence of students,which bringing about the situation that students can only have tests,but can’t listen and say. Moreover, listenning is the premise of language learning and key, without the ability to listen, all communication will be no way to start.Along with the mobile technology being more sophisticated,language learning has been gradually toward routinization, advanced technology combined with the characteristics of language learning promote the development of mobile language learning, Mobile English learning has become an important way of learning for modern people. According to the survey, traditional class teaching has slowly turned into a form of performance in short lesson、long intervals、more students、fewer resources which can not guarantee the quality of listening teaching, resulting in not fully voice nurtured and exercised. However, mobile smart phones have been popular among college students, using the carrier of the mobile learning, strengthening the ability of the Students’ English Listening can be able to enhance collage students’English comprehensive ability.Android is one kind of the mobile phone development platform, created on basis of Java,which could be able to provide effective and efficient solutions for mobile phone software development.In recent years, Android has swept the world with its strong market occupancy rate and been popular with people.In China,the market share has become the most important force in the mobile field,which prompted more and more developers into Android development camp.This article studied from the point of view of the English Listening,learning from hearing teaching strategies and cognitive rules, designed and developed a learning client by using Android software platform for college students listening, in order to reveal the meaning of mobile college English listening training and to provide a strong complement to train collage students’ overall English ability. The innovation of this paper is to breakthrough repository function, strengthen the the listening training mechanism, which perfected the process of hearning learning and provided a complete set of learning services. Create a favorable hearing learning environment for practice and exploration.
