With the further development of curriculum revolution,people focus more on the problem of students' class engagement.Also,people are trying to put new teaching methods into practice.The new English curriculum standards proposed by Ministry of Education in 2011 aims to develop student's listening,speaking,reading and writing skill.Teachers are expected to find a more appropriate method to help students engage in class actively and enhance the ability of independent learning.Meanwhile,students are supposed to enhance their English listening and speaking ability to meet the demands of our society.Nowadays,mobile terminals give all the learners an alternative.It is mobile technology that makes learning different.People can learn whatever they want at anytime with the mobile terminal.Mobile technology is ubiquitous and of timeliness,it makes more interactivity possible through mobile learning device.For English language learners,they can learn English in this way,especially with help of APP.M-learning has become a popular way for people.This thesis attempts to explore,with the guide of the advanced teaching theory,attention to class engagement,how to enhance the engagement with the help of Mobil APPR The research focuses on the following aspects:To analyze the situation of traditional listening classroom and the reforming trend.To put forward a language learning style for English listening practice based on Mobile APP,and construct teaching framework.To apply Mobile APP in English listening practice after class.The ultimate purpose of this research is to open a new door to English listening and speaking class:Teachers can make use of Mobile APP to enrich interactivity,expand learning time and enhance class engagementThis research demonstrates that M-learning style is flexible and multiple.It has a positive impact on enhancing class engagement of students.Mobile APP can be an auxiliary learning device for language learner to achieve the effect that the traditional classroom teaching could never get.
