With the rapid development of the computer industry, the development and application of modern information technology which based on computer technology, network technology and multimedia technology has become an important symbol to measure social development and overall national strength.Computer’s visualization and operation processing capabilities brought great conveniences to modernperson’s life,learning and work, and the ability of computer application has become one of the basic skills necessary for modern practitioners."Computer Application Foundation" is an important position for higher vocational colleges to culture students’computer application skills. According to the outline requirement, in the teaching,we should focus on students’comprehensive abilities, combine learning with doing, and improve the hands-on skills and the ability to solve practical problems which students need to adapt to the professional positions. As can be seen, training practical,versatile talents with higher literacy for the production of the first line becomes the core content of the new curriculum reform of the vocational school.Microproject-based learning is a project-oriented learning style,basing on contextualized micro-theme tasks,facilitating learners to practice,internalize and innovate, promoting learners to master the more complete and specific knowledge and skills,and effectively improving learners’ interest in learning,practical ability,collaboration and innovation capability.This pedagogy focuses attention on creating a purposeful,meaningful context for students.on the one hand,it arouses the enthusiasm of the students involved in the classroom,on the other hand,it promotes them to be fully developed,such as exercising practical,cooperation,innovation and so on. Learning activities can be completed within one or two class hours,making the classroom more efficient.So,microproject-based learning is a new teaching methods for personnel training in the21st century.This paper used quasi-experimental study, questionnaires, interviews and other research methods, carried a more comprehensive study of the application of microproject-based learning in the Computer Application Foundation course of vocational college, the text is divided into six parts as follows: Chapter1,the author described the background and significance,research goals and contents,research methods and ideas of this topic,expounded related concepts;From the course itself and the characteristics of microproject-based learning,the author discussed the necessity,possibility and appropriateness of microproject-based learning applied in the Computer Application Foundation course.Chapter2,the author presented a systematic review concerning project-based learning,microlecture as well as microproject-based learning at home and abroad,finding out research outcomes and shorts.Chapter3,the author outlined microproject-based learning,clarifying the theoretical basis,the basic elements and characteristics,learning process as well as its relationship with microlecture,which did well pave the way for the scientific study.Chapter4,the anthor analyzed of learning objects,according to the learning objectives and teaching condition,carried out a detailed theoretical analysis on instructional design of microproject in vocational computer application foundation course,interpretatied the specific instructional design process.Chapter5,According to the quasi-experimental methods,the author designed teaching experiment,and then implemented it,through the survey and experimental data statistics,analysised the application effects of microproject-based learning.Chapter6,the anthor summaried effects of microproject-based leaarning in Computer Application Foundation course,and proposed future research directions.Study showed that microproject-based learning can improve students’learning interest,practical ability and collaboration skills,having a positive impact on innovation awareness.
