Since2007, the national students’physical health standard ("the standards "as follow) has been implemented for more than six years, which is the key to promoting the quality education as a large challenge to the front teachers. According to the statistics data, the physical condition of Chinese students were not optimistic and the physical quality such as the endurance and the power is declining. Then what a level is the students’physical condition in the second high school of Sanmenxia shanxian? This paper is to investigate the effects of the school physical education to the physical health level of students there. Three consecutive years of tracking survey was implemented to the girls in the third grade from2010to2013. The physical fitness tests and the statistical analysis were given as follow:morphological index (height, weight), function index (vital capacity), quality indicators (800meters run,50meters run, Sit-and-reach). At the same time a questionnaire was given to the girls in third grade, which was done by the method of documentary, interview survey, field test, questionnaire survey, mathematical statistics, etc. The body morphological development, body function, body fitness and movement ability of the third grade girls were discussed in the paper in order to examine the effects of the school physical education to the physical health level of students and find out the related reasons, so as to provide reference for school sports teaching reform about the contents of physical education and the teaching effect.Research results show that:1.The morphological indexes such as height, weight all increased significantly(P<0.05) from the first grade to the third grade in the middle school, and the long-term trends of growth and development of adolescent was good.2.The vital capacity as the index of body function increased309.4ml(P<0.05) from the first grade to the third grade in the middle school, and showed a good trend.3.The performance such as speed and sensibility and endurance were improved slightly from the first grade to the second grade in the middle school, but increased significantly(P<0.05) from the second grade to the third grade. On the other hand the flexibility declined significantly(P<0.05) from the first grade to the second grade. As a whole, the performance was good at the third grade and bad at the second grade.4. About Management of school sports, the teaching time was guaranteed, while the teaching quality and content must be improved to meet the students’ hobbies. The students’ exercise intensity in P.E. class was low and the exercise skill learning was lack. Since they are so interested in the games of small ball the exercise site needed to be improved. Girls’ enthusiasm in sports was not high and half of them felt large learning pressure, because there was not sufficient time to participate in physical exercise.This article finally put forward some reference Suggestions of school PE teaching reform to the second high school in sanmenxia ShanXian.
