With the deepening of new curriculum reform, in May2011,Chengdu Taiping Primary School proposed a topic of "folk culture as a startingpoint to build school art and physical characteristics of discipline," After thoughtand discussion, Three school music teacher Ping Huang, Yonghong Zhang and Ihave started with "Sichuan Folk School Curriculum Development and Practice" asthe theme of the teaching and research work.We conducted a study about ourstudents in our school and found that their music literacy is not high, theirinfrastructure is weak, and insufficient emphasis on family education, schooleducation so that we work hard to carry out. How to allow more students to enjoyschool music features to bring them pleasure? We decided to adjust measure to localconditions, and select Sichuan folk songs as a starting point, to write, and promote aSichuan folk-based materials. Next, we used various methords such as literatureanalysis, questionnaire, interview and observation, comparative analysis to researchand analysis.It based on the content of textbooks, Sichuan folk popularization in theclassroom, countermeasures may encounter issues with the methods. Dy conductingindividual "conversation access","I am a little editor,""I was a little singer","smallcampus music broadcasting" and other activities. We mastered the students’acceptability of the selected material. After a year of research, we selected twelveSichuan folk song:"yellow silk ant ant","number toad","crab song","what comesout glowing red","radiant sun","big whistle","pointy mountain "," flowers "," childcar number plate "," waiter "," The bitter bitter bacteria bacteria hemp food children","boxwood pole,"wrote a school curriculum about the Sichuan-based materials.Students in each grade should learn two different songs to performe each year. Through these activities, students developped self-confidence, enhanced theirmusical performance ability, and praised by the majority of teachers and students.Itmakes Sichuan folk culture can be heritaged.
