In2010, a new round of the new high school curriculum reform was officially launched in Sichuan Province, and research study is listed in the curriculum and into high school students’ academic credits appraisal. The research study is a change in the way of learning for students, containing a self-constructed learning group cooperative learning, inquiry learning. Research study calls for changes in teaching methods for teachers. In the new era, the students need to have a good ability to learn, the spirit of cooperation, and cover some of the spirit of innovation and sound personality. Organizing students to effectively carry out the research topics for study can greatly promote the ability of students to form a basic scientific literacy, and gradually form a good learning ability, team spirit, the spirit of innovation.The ability lays the foundation for sustainable development. Under the guidance of the new curriculum reform, a lot of effective teaching methods reform is carried out."Teaching comes after learning" mode is one of the more influential one, the students first learn by themselves and then the teachers teach the students and deal with the difficulty and the students practice in class in time. The mode enhances students’ability and school teaching and management level.This paper is divided into six sections, which covers the practice of high school physics research study in the New Curriculum:to carry out a research study, background, significance, research plan;, research study at the school level and student level launch preparation phase; textbook content research study carried out by the subject; hot social issues to research topics, learning stage;"Teaching comes after learning" mode.
