Operational Modes Of Social Relationship Networks During House Removing

Urbanization has been an inevitable trend for our social and economic development. In recent years, the pace of reconstruction in China’s big, medium sized and small cities has accelerated obviously as with the rapid development of urbanization process. At the same time, house removing and demolishing has also been in the state of substantial increasing. As a basic step of urbanization and engagement in basic living rights of citizens, house removing and demolishing are involved with real interests of governments, real estate businessmen and land owners. Being a challenging problem, it demands cautious and careful solutions otherwise it may lead to interest conflicts and social disputes.According to literature review of present studies, there haven’t been enough empirical studies on house removings from the perspective of social network. Being a country highly respecting social network and etiquettes in its grass-root society, China’s social network has been playing a prominent influence on social lives of various aspects in the complex social background of family, relative, neighbor, friend and countryman relationship. Therefore, this research chooses the perspective of social network and focuses on investigating operational modess and effects of social network in house removing based on case studies. It aims to better understand daily lives and house removing problems in grass-root communities. To be specific, this research is divided in the following parts:Firstly, this research gives reasons this topic is significant. Based on the brief review of literary works on house removing and social network, this research explains specific content and significance of this work and makes an introduction about methodologies and empirical research data collections.Secondly, this work makes a general introduction about the designated communities. After close investigation, it finds that as a grass-root community on the transition from suburban community to urban community, it has preserved much of social network including relationship between relatives, families and friends. At the same time, objectivity has also been put in interest acquisition with regard to specific actions. So this work gives information about house removing incidents, their reasons, problematization, the complicated process and resolution.Thirdly, this research divides social network into two categories including sentiment oriented social network (relative network, geographical network and friend network) and interest oriented social network (interest sharing social network and win-win social network). Meanwhile, this work also analyzes the real operational basis, modess, effects and operational logics from the perspectives of land owners and land requirers. This part is also the main body of this work.At last, there are several discussions on the conclusion and explanation of limitations and weakness of this work.
