With its rapid development, the modern information technology is driving the reform of basic education. Classroom teaching, meanwhile, is also required to be organized with this power of new technology and the concept of modern education idea. The next step, however, is how to better optimize the classroom teaching, which is a very practical issue for us to constantly make efforts to explore. Compared with the traditional teaching method, teaching with information technology has the characteristics of flexibility, controllability and interactivity, which can hugely enhance the teaching effect. However, there are still some problems in its practical application in the mathematics teaching of primary school.Under the system of classroom teaching, we are required to be guided under the concept of new curriculum standard, following the law of children’s cognition development, designing and implementing the teaching procedure from the students’ position. The project that how to develop the advantages of information technology and better enchance the classroom teaching has greatly attracted the extensive attention from educational experts and teachers.Based on the analysis of current situation of mathematics teaching of primary school, the paper is trying to find out the problems of information technology in optimizing the mathematics teaching of primary school. The paper is also focusing on the teaching strategies of information technology used in constructing the classroom teaching, aiming to improve the efficiency of teaching and develop primary school students’ inquiry ability and information literacy.The basic framework of this paper consists of six chapters. The first Chapter is introduction part, and it systematically introduces the background and significance of the research, the research status, the research method and the related concepts. The Second Chapter is focusing on the main theoretical basis. It has detailed description of learning theory, psychological theory and teaching theory, which provides the theoretical guidance of the study. The Third Chapter analyzes the current situation of mathematic classroom teaching with information technology in primary school, and identifies the existing misunderstandings mainly through practical examples in classroom teaching and questionnaire survey and investigation interview. Chapter Four is about the strategy research on optimizing the mathematics classroom teaching with information technology in primary school. Based on the contents of Chapter Three, it introduces how to take the strategies to have teaching in the field of constructing the classroom teaching. In the Fifth Chapter, the paper analyzes two teaching examples according to the strategies conclusion mentioned above. The Six Chapter summarizes the innovation of this research and its shortcomings.
