“Target Task” is a kind of “Real World Task” which focuses on the realism andinteractivity. It helps teachers to create real communicative needs of students whichbases on environments, improving communicative competence of the target languagelearners in non-target language environment. In spite of the research of target tasklanguage teaching approach in non-target language environment makes gratifyingachievements, however, the research in practice (especially for beginning learners)still have weakness. This paper is based on the author’s teaching experiences inCordoba, Spain. The article analyzes the learning needs of primary learners, anddesign tutorials. At the same time the author analyze the teaching process and theeffectiveness. The article summarizes the problems in the teaching proposes andpropose solutions to these problems.The article summarizes some issues of the target task teaching: inappropriatedesign assistance activities; time is unreasonable; classroom instruction is not clear;can not clear the role of the teacher. For these issues, the author makes the followingrecommendations: Establishing clear teaching objectives; teachers must analyze thecomplexity and difficulty of the task before designing; pay attention to the role of theteacher.I hope the case studies of this article、the teaching reflection and suggestionscould provide references for the Chinese language teaching in non-primary purpose.
