With the increasingly cooperation between China and neighboring countries and the influence of Chinese language has continued to expand,some border cities in Yunnan Province have attracted many students from neighboring countries by virtue of their geographical advantages.More than 700 Lao students are learning Chinese in the Chinese training class of Mengla County Vocational High School in Xishuangbanna Dai Autonomous Prefecture,Yunnan Province.The class adopts the co-teaching model during the first grade.Chinese teachers and translation teachers work together to assume different roles and division of labor.In order to achieve the common teaching goal,the same teaching object is taught in the same class.The coteaching model includes three parts: pre-class preparation,in-class cooperation and after-class cooperation.This paper takes the TCSL model of the Lao Chinese class in Mengla County Vocational High School as the research object.Based on a comprehensive understanding of the current situation of Chinese teaching in the school,through the teaching practice,classroom observation,interviews and questionnaires,investigate and analysis the co-teaching model to understand the model in pre-class preparation,in-class cooperation and after-class cooperation.Through the case analysis,it presents the cooperation in class of co-teaching model.The characteristics of the model are summarized on the basis of investigation.By analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of the co-teaching model used in the target language environment,this paper puts forward some implementation suggestions from various angles.In order to provide new ideas and new methods for teaching Chinese as a second language.
