| The practical teaching cases which demonstrated in this essay,combining with my teaching experience in primary school of New Zealand,I am doing some research on the application of Task-based Language Teaching in teaching Chinese to primary school students in New Zealand.With the theories of Task-based Language Teaching,including constructivism learning theory,second language acquisition theory and Piaget’s theory of cognitive development as theoretical support for the research on how to apply the Task-based Language Teaching of teaching Chinese in non target language environment.This essay analyzes the necessity and feasibility of implementing Task-based Language Teaching in teaching Chinese to primary school students in New Zealand.In order to solve the existing problems in Chinese teaching in primary school of New Zealand,I want to apply Task-based Language Teaching to the primary school students.The essay starts with the four basic elements of Chinese: voice,vocabulary,grammar and Chinese characters,then introduces evaluation methods of Task-based Language Teaching which can help me do the evaluation and analysis of the typical successful and failed cases arising in the process of implementation of Task-based Language Teaching.At last,the summary of research results on Task-based Language Teaching give Chinese teachers some suggestions and enlightenment. |
