The Study About Sports Tourism Curriculum System

As a new subject, sports tourism has a significant growth in China. The lack of sportstourism qualified personnel impedes the growth of sports tourism in China. Mainly for thepractitioners of sports tourism comprehensive quality is not high, the lack of professionalknowledge, skills. The development of sports tourism education can not catch up with thedemand of the market, talent cultivation research lag. The main problems of sports tourismpersonnel training is the setting of sports tourism curriculum system is not perfect.This study aims to build a new curriculum system by analyzing the overall curriculumsystem of tourism management under the perspective of professional competency. The mainconclusions are as follows:Through the analysis and comparison among sports tourism, sports tourism professionalcompetency, curriculum system in order to accentuate the perspective of professionalcompetency in curriculum system of sports tourism. By doing this, it could strengthen thestudents’ capacities as well as excavating the essence of sports tourism thoroughly.Based on professional competency, the writer structuring the system of the sportstourism professional competency which include three modules of indicating, managing,planning. Appropriately, structuring the curriculum system of sports tourism. Setting theteaching content and curriculum around the sports tourism professional three modules forreasonable arrangement, runs through the whole teaching process, to strengthen the studentsprofessional competency.
