The regional activities refers to according to characteristics of children on the abundant materials, to meet the needs of children activities, so that children to obtain the understanding of the world around the game.The regional activities of the organization is open and flexible, children can choose regional activities of the site, materials and peers according to their own preferences It provides a free, broad area for the harmonious development of children activities.To choose the regional activities kindergarten as the research object, using literature method, observation method and interview method as research method, research and analysis on current status of kindergarten regional activity, targeted recommendations for improvement, to enrich the kindergarten regional activity theory, improve the quality of kindergarten regional activity.This paper consists of five parts.The first part is introduction.This part includes the problem and significance.The second part is the literature review.This part includes the research of large area related concept of kindergarten and regional activities of domestic and foreign related research.Objective and methods is the third part of this paper.The fourth part is the research results and analysis.Study found that teachers’ formal, regional activities of the unclear role and activities on the way improper regional space and time arrangement of large regional activities.The fifth part is the research thinking and suggestion, role orientation in space and time open, problems of regional activities clear teachers regional activities in the observer, partners and evaluation and enhancing regional activity materials exploration, hierarchy and dynamic and so on.
