In the regional activities of kindergarten,children’s participation in the placement of recycled materials not only helps children establish the ecological awareness of protecting nature and conforming to nature,but also can trigger their thinking and stimulate their creativity.In recent years,kindergartens gradually pay attention to the subjective development of children,taking children’s participation as an important part of the curriculum development.However,children’s participation in the recycling activities is still in the exploratory stage both in theory and in practice.Therefore,in order to integrate the quantitative and qualitative data collected,this study takes preschool teachers and children in Y District of Xi ’an city as the theoretical basis and integrates the quantitative and qualitative data based on the child participation ladder.Relevant empirical research was conducted based on children’s participation intention,content,pathway,degree of children’s participation and factors influencing children’s participation in the placement of recycled materials in regional activities.The research found that in terms of the current situation of children’s participation in the recycling materials in kindergarten regional activities,there are problems,such as the embryonic participation consciousness of children,uneven participation in the recycling materials,narrow participation in the recycling materials,and low participation in the recycling materials.Factors influencing children’s participation in the placement of recycled materials in kindergarten activities include heavy assignment of tasks and lack of training related to placement of recycled materials in kindergartens;Teachers have insufficient understanding and utilization of recycled materials and one-sided understanding of the educational value of recycled materials.In other aspects,parents’ coordination ability is low and children’s individual ability is different.In view of the current situation of children’s participation in recycling materials delivery in kindergarten regional activities,in order to solve the difficult problem of children’s participation,it is suggested to enhance children’s willingness to participate;Enrich children’s participation;Broaden the way of children’s participation;Improve child participation.At the same time,the elimination of influencing factors should be paid attention to.In terms of kindergartens,standardized management,reasonable arrangement of tasks,emphasis on the educational value of recycled materials in regional activities,and training activities related to teacher professional development should be carried out.In terms of preschool teachers,we should pay attention to children’s participation,respect children’s subjectivity,improve teachers’ professional growth in the application of recycled materials,attach importance to children’s participation ability,create spiral challenges,and enhance children’s sense of participation;In other aspects: actively promote home cooperation,improve parents’ recognition of children’s participation,and guide children to participate in recycling materials delivery according to children’s characteristics.
