A Study On The Types And Prevention Of Safety Accidents In Primary Schools

The stage of primary school is an essential period of basic education. The primary school safety accident rate was significantly higher than that in middle school as primary school students’mental development is still in an immature stage. Therefore, the management of primary school safety becomes more critical and complex. In the face of endless campus safety accidents taking place in different forms, schools should not try to cope with the accidents only after they have taken place but to see through the appearance to get at the essence of the problem and to make in-depth analysis of the causes of various primary school safety accidents so as to pertinently take rational coping styles to form a long-term mechanism of safety management and reduce the accident rate and the extent of damage.Based on the analysis of a large number of primary school safety accident cases, the author divides the safety accidents into two types: endogenous and exogenous types. The cause of endogenous campus safety accidents is discussed from five aspects of system management, hardware management, post management, student management, and activity management; the cause of exogenous campus safety accidents is discussed from two aspects of primary environment and secondary environment outside the campus safety accidents. The author put forward six control trends:the specialization of management subject, the humanization of management activities, the modernization of management techniques, the stabilization of management system, differentiation of management object, and timeliness of management assessment from the macroscopic angle. Meanwhile, the author proposes the corresponding control measures from the micro perspective. The prevention measures of endogenous campus safety accidents include the implementation of regulations, routine management, hidden danger investigation, emergency response system, responsibility investigation, and so on; the prevention measures of exogenous campus safety accidents include accountability; outer hair campus safety accident prevention measures include rectifying and protecting the campus surrounding environment by linking administrative departments and a wide range of social forces together.
