Education Of The Ideological And Political Students In The New Normal

A country’s prosperity is determined by the education, and the success of education is determined by the teachers. Students in normal colleges are the reserve armies of future teachers who shoulder the important tasks of training builders and successors for the socialist cause. Their ideological understanding, politics and moral quality directly relate with the healthy growth of the teenagers, and the nation’s future as well.With the help of the existing research results, this thesis uses the combining methods of actual investigation and theory study. Through investigation and research of north Jiangsu normal university and communication with some students and teachers and network questionnaire of400students in Yancheng normal college, the thesis studies on the ideological and political education problems and counter measures of normal college students in the new period.First of all, the questionnaire shows that the current situation of the ideal belief, value orientation, moral quality, political participation consciousness, etc of normal college students in the new period is good. However, there exist some problems like the ideal faith desalinating, value orientation confusion, teachers’professional ethics consciousness weakening, psychological pressure increasing and so on. At the same time, it also reflects normal college students’characteristics of pursuing freedom, individualism, etc. In the second, this thesis analyzes the reasons for problems in these aspects:the impact of negative factors like leadership’s emphasis in normal universities, money worship in society and utilitarian tendency; the ideological and political education concept; some defects existing in the content and method; some negative effects on the ideological and political education brought by the rapid development of higher education. At last, the thesis puts forward lots of counter measures on improving normal college students’ideological and political education from the aspects of raising values of college students’ideological and political education of normal colleges, optimizing the content of ideological and political education, and enriching campus culture. Strengthening and improving ideological and political education of normal colleges is an important and urgent task. This study,hope to attract attention of more scholars, for it is helpful to improve the ideological and political education of college students in normal colleges.
