With the economic development and the changing environment, the decline ofmoral responsibility is widely concerned to community gradually so that moralresponsibility education in the society of China has become an important task.University students’ moral responsibility consciousness and mission sense affect thedevelopment and future of our society and our motherland directly. So it is obviouslythat the cultivation of contemporary university students’ moral responsibilityconsciousness has a long way to go. As colleges,which cultivate higher intellectuals,should make the moral responsibility education more important.The average citizen has some certain right to choose his behaviors so that hemust assume moral responsibilities. Moral responsibility consciousness is that peopleshould respond to their behaviors of good and evil. That is to say the main bodyshould choose moral behaviors and respond moral obligation in some certain socialrelations. A person with high ethical standards must be a person who implementsmoral responsibility. Up to now, civilization has no specific legal provision stipulatepeople’s moral responsibility, but it remains the standards of moral responsibility.Moral responsibility consciousness is a kind of undertaken consciousness whichmeans individuality responds the self-discipline consciousness of his statements andactions. Approved by the public, a lofty moral valuable social behavior must proceedfrom the strong sense of responsibility for our country, society and community. Theuniversity students with moral responsibility must undoubtedly be the high qualitytalents in modern social development. However, the negative effect of socialtransformation, economic development and altered environment impact the way ofthinking. And because of the reduction of family education, imperfection in collegeeducation system, together with the unconstructed completely world outlook, outlookon life, and values of the university students we can imagine how severe theimpaction would be. The most conspicuous impaction is weakened and deletion ofmoral responsibility. In a word, it is of great theoretical and actual meaning in probinginto the ways of strengthening moral responsibility of college students. To get the conclusion on the policies of strengthen university students’consciousness of moral responsibility, the present thesis adopts some researchingmethods, for instance, consulting literature material, individual talk and so on and soforth. Combining self-working practice as a college counselor, the thesis investigatesthe social background of the lack of university students’ moral obligation, whichbased on the lack of college students’ moral responsibility consciousness.Based on the above ideas the essay has three chapters. The first chapterintroduced the related concepts and whose differences and connection theoretically:morality, responsibility, moral responsibility, college students’ moral responsibilityand college students’ sense of moral responsibility. College stage is not only animportant period for a young student to grow up but also a crucial period for theyoung to be socialized. At the same time, strengthening the moral responsibilityeducation is the most urgent item in moral construction of social transformation.Thenthe essay expounds the practical meaning of moral responsibility education. That are:strengthening the moral responsibility education is the requirement of modern society;an important support of college students’ healthy growth and academic progress;important content in college moral education.The second chapter analyzes the principal problems of the moral obligation insuch aspects: society, university, family and students themselves. According to theanalysis,the factors are: the deletion of moral responsibility in whole society, collegesneglect moral responsibility education, family ignore the responsibility education, andlacking of self-recognition.The third chapter put forward countermeasures of strengthening college students’sense of responsibility from three aspects: the self-education and family education, thesocial environment and the moral education of colleges and universities. There are:the university students themselves should strengthen the psychological adjustmentability continually; the whole society should create a good social environment;colleges create education means and content with innovative thinking.
