The Present Taekwondo Development Situation And The Investigation Analysis In Physical Education Colleges And Departments In Hebei Province

Taekwondo that is a kind of new fashionable sports combines with athletics,fitness and entertainment etc.. It is widely accepted by the public.Because it is easy tolearn its actions and safety coefficient is high, it is suitable for different-level peopleto practice it.Moreover, Taekwondo has been introduced into China since1995, andcontinuously has been promoted. Nowadays, the various activities of taekwondo wereorganized in full swing. Especially, in the colleges and universities, a hot wave oflearning taekwondo was raised and it was loved deeply by many students. LearningTaekwondo plays an important role in enhancing students’ quality.By looking through the literature, the author found that the researches ontaekwondo are few, and the previous researches mainly concentrated on thecomparison study between taekwondo and other types of project study, taekwondophysical training, and the motivations of learning taekwondo analysis etc, however,the researches on taekwondo practice content, practice form, the arrangement of theactivity, safety and other aspects in the Physical Education Colleges and Departmentsare limited and few,which it greatly influenced the rapid development of thetaekwondo.As we known, it is the responsibility for the Physical Education Colleges andDepartments to cultivate qualified coaches and teachers and train professional sportstalents so as to adapt to the requirements of the people’s fitness.And The SportsColleges and Departments cultivate professional taekwondo talents who can adapt tothe demand of the society or not, which will directly affect people’s enthusiasm andeffect of bodybuilding.Therefore,it is necessary and urgent to carry out a research onthe taekwondo in the Sports Colleges and Departments.Based on the investigation of21Physical Education colleges and departments inour province,the author chooses340students and19teachers as a random sampleusing the method of looking through the literature, mathematical statistics method andquestionnaire method etc., to research on the taekwondo development of sportscolleges in Hebei province.Here are specific conclusions and recommendations.They are as follows:ConclusionsAt present, the penetration rate of taekwondo is higher in the sports schools anddepartments of the colleges and universities in Hebei province. The forms of carryingout taekwondo mainly include: special course, elective courses, required courses andmass organizations.Taekwondo teachers of Physical Education colleges and departments in Hebeiprovince universities are shortage and teachers’ teaching methods are not advancing.At present, there is still no unified taekwondo teaching material in sportscolleges and departments of Hebei province. And now textbooks used is not onlyunreasonable, but also most of the school taekwondo venues lack of standardization.Suggestions1The schools should strengthen teachers’ team construction, the introduction ofprofessional taekwondo talents, and encourage teachers to participate in professionaltraining so as to update teachers’teaching concepts, strengthen the study of theoreticalknowledge and improve their teaching level.2The shools should unified teaching materials. The teachers can edit a practicaland reasonable teaching material. In the process of edit, the teachers should give theappropriate adjustments combining with the characteristics of male and female.3The schools should increase capital investment and construct standardtaekwondo fields.
