Research On The Education Problems Of Private College Students’Values

This paper combines the particularity of the private colleges and its students to discover the problems of the private colleges exist in terms of management, teaching and teacher,and points out that the students who study at the private universities have a lot of characteristics, for example, diversity, self, self-abased and so on. Mainly as the conflict between individualism, hedonism showed secularization,entertainment and the traditional values of collectivism showed sublime. On one hand, this conflict on the values related to the social transformation,on the other hand, this conflict on the values also links with the internal and external environments and operating mechanism of the private universities, as well as traditional social values. This article points out that the private universities just emphasis on sills training and theoretical study in order to improve ability of employability of the students while ignore the cultivation of moral qualities of its students, so the moral education and the work of party building to become the weak link in today’s private higher education. Under the influence of the globalization and networking, the proliferation of various social thought has a strong impact on the traditional values and moral teaching. Ideological and political education from content to form in the private universities is difficult to close to the life and hard to meet the needs of individual psychology, so it under the aphasia and marginalized.There are four chapters in this research. Profile of each chapter is as followings:The first chapter is the basic definition of the concept. It mainly include the private colleges and universities and private college students, as well as the definition of the concept of values and values education.The second chapter explains the values of the theory of Marxism and socialism with Chinese characteristics, and points out the human nature, nationality, specific and the times of the socialist values.In the third chapter, it introduces the three different ways for the private colleges values education.They are school, social and family, and also introduces its values education in different roles. The main problems in current values education are in terms of faith missing and integrity crisis, the impact of the internet culture, materialism factors and so on, and it also points out the impact on the daily life is the new challenges to the teachers and managers.The fouth chapter is the focus of this article. It proposes the important concept that respect for human personality development reflects the values of the democratization of education. The particularity of the private college students determines that educators in the learning and day-to-day dealings actively should respect and guide the choice of student values. The important task for educators is fully explore effective manner and content of traditional culture values education and give the connotation of the times. It also has important practical significance to promote the students re-understand the "self-awareness" has a sense of collective responsibility and ideological unity. In order to promote private college students’values education, we must improve the ways and means of education on learning, exchange of life, career choices, marriage concept and so on. Especially, the educators should give full play to the role of specialty education and daily life education, improve the education of relevance and closeness on human shaping and development.
