As the embodiment of “unity, fashion, vitality and sunshine”, thecheerleading is deeply loved by people all over the world, more than100countries, including our nation, are at the peak of its development. Since2008, more and more events of cheerleading had been held by GymnasticsAdministration Center, General Administration of Sport of China, thegovernment decentralization and enterprise business competition modegradually realize the goal of nationwide promotion, and some certain resultshad been achieved. For the better development of cheerleading competitions,analysis of the factors restricting the cheerleading competition promotion,soThis article takes the events and promotion research of cheerleading held byGymnastics Administration Center, General Administration of Sport of China,and it adopts the methods of literature materials, logic analysis,questionnaire investigation, on-the-spot investigation, mathematicalstatistics, interviews and other research methods, and the conclusions areas follows:⑴In order to adapt to the needs of the development of cheerleading events,the Gymnastics Sports Management Center, General Administration of Sport ofChina, sets up the cheerleading events management organizations and agencieswho cooperates with the sport intermediary enterprises and educationdepartments, and they take the measures of standard promotion, eventsintegration, models of cheerleading schools in our nation, etc, to boost thedevelopment of the cheerleading events.⑵From2008to2013, there have been ways mainily to promote the events ofcheerleading, such as: school promotion,training promotion, media promotionand event organization and promotion.⑶Since2008, the promotion of cheerleading events have made a great progress.It mainly displays in: the number of events has increased from1station to16stations, the event of the scale has sharply increased from10000peopleto35000people, the competition rules have become more standardized andrigorous, the contests rich and competiton grouping rationalized. Thequantitiy of promotion in primary and secondary schools increases year afteryear, and it tends to balanced development. The training mode of cultivation has trained more than6,800grass-roots coaches and powerful referee teams.The media’s visibility has been strengthened and the quantity increased.Sponsorship money increase gradually, and this provides finance security forthe cheerleading development.⑷The factors that restrict the further promotion of cheerleading are: lowin professional quality of the coach teams, and lack of experience.insufficient funds and sites for entry of schools, the imbalanced trainingand promotion, the single of promotion type, TV media propaganda is poor, andlack of professional media team, the phenomenon of building cheerleader teamsfor games hinders the improvement of competition level and maturity.⑸Countmeasures: improving the school sport resources, further to enhancecoaches training,improve the professional,establishing a ladder trainingmode, gradually change unbalanced development projects;Broaden the pre-match propaganda channels,and improve the accuracy of the event mediareported.
