An Empirical Study On The Factors Which Affect The Happiness Index Of Citizens Of Suqian

Happiness is the final aim which humanity pursues. The history of humancivilization is, in the final analysis, a history of generations pursue happiness. Themost important assignment for many subjects of knowledge is to find that how topromote human’s happiness. Since reforming and opening, China has already maderemarkable achievements. Though our material life has greatly improved, we mustface more terrible problems, such as: the environment worse, the disparity of income,the unbalance in supply of public resources, the obvious increase in social conflicts. Itis difficult to say that our happiness level is developing along with the economic level.People are beginning to question that the social development evaluation system ofcore is achievement.Based on reviewing some related documents and literature fruits of the study onhappiness and happiness index, under the instruction of psychology on happinesstheory, I design questionnaire research, collect basic data and investigate deeply,using SPSS16.0statistic software and correlative theories, this paper implements thefactors of the happiness index of SuQian in quantitative and qualitative analysis ways.At last, we get conclusions as follows:(1) The important index which made up the happiness index of citizens ofSuQian are the healthy living index, the job security index and the living satisfactionindex.(2) Gender, the age and marital status has scarcely any effect on the happinessindex of citizens of SuQian.(3) Health status, family earnings and the level of education has lager influenceon the happiness index of citizens.(4) With the influence of social comparison psychology, people will getdifferent happiness index comparing with the around people.In the end, we put forward some feasible suggestions according to the problemsvia scientific study and current realities of SuQian to help improve the happinessindex of citizens.
