Heterogeneous teaching is a brand-new teaching philosophy and mode as well asan approach to high-efficiency learning while the pressing question is how to apply itin Biology teaching in senior high school. Therefore this thesis conducts an empiricalresearch to verify the effect of heterogeneous teaching on Biology teaching. To beginwith, this thesis illustrates common teaching modes and makes a questionnaire surveyon the Biology learning interest and capability and hence finds out those problemsunderlying the existing teaching modes. And then, based on the analysis of theseproblems come out accordingly the solution and Biology teaching procedure andorganizational forms under the concept of three-dimensional teaching objectives fromthe perspective of heterogeneous teaching. At length, an empirical research is carriedout in the senior high school where the author is working. By comparing andanalyzing the data from the research, the author naturally concludes thatheterogeneous teaching functions very well and good learning results can beguaranteed within a short period of time, which further illustrates the feasibility andeffectiveness of Biology heterogeneous teaching in the increase of learning interest,the enhancement of learning capability, and the achievement of academic merit.In addition, the probe into Biology heterogeneous teaching is of greatsignificance which leads to the employment of a number of research methods rangingfrom survey research, experimental research to literature research. What is more, thepresent thesis consists of six parts which are organized in a systematic way. To bespecific, they are as follows: the establishment of research subject; the literaturereview of the heterogeneous teaching: the theory for Biology heterogeneous teachingin senior high school under the concept of three-dimensional teaching objectives; theresearch method and thought; the organization and practice of Biology heterogeneousteaching in senior high school and some reflections on Biology heterogeneousteaching in senior high school.
