The self-efficacy feeling in the bio-learning means students’subjective feelings from emotion to behavior formed during the biology learning; as a result it will not only affect the result of the learning process but also act on the learning process and learning behavior. At the moment, there are some problems existed in the self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students. It is an objective reality and an actual problem which should be faced and solved urgently during the development of bio-teaching activities. As its causes formed have involved many aspects which make it become more complicated, therefore the cultivation of the self-efficacy feeling in the bio-learning has also become an issue concerned greatly by the biological education circle and psychology circle.Back grounded on senior high schools’biology teaching and combined with senior high school students’own characteristics, this paper aims at discussing the contents and methods involving in the self-efficacy cultivation of senior high school students. The research motivation includes:1.There is an intimate relationship between the self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students and the academic achievements.2. There exists the lacked attention to their self-efficacy feeling. In addition, the major contents in this paper include three aspects:1.To investigates the current situation about the self-efficacy feeling of parts of senior high school students in bio-learning.2. A case study involving three students.3. To analyze the major factors affecting the formation of their self-efficacy feeling and discuss the cultivating methods of their self-efficacy feeling.There are five chapters in this paper with its overall framework roughly as following: Chapter1is the introduction by which the origin, purpose and content causing and composing this paper will be introduced. Meanwhile, its theoretical significance, the current situation and adopted research methods involving the study of self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students will be explained briefly. In Chapter2, through the theoretical analysis of some relevant concepts and reference of the materials from home and abroad, the author has conducted a preliminary review and combing about the self-efficacy feeling and that of senior high school students, then based on those, the self-efficacy feeling (the core concept of this research) has been deduced and induced. It is believed that the abstract concept caused by the self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students can become vivid and avatar only when it is combined with the actual teaching activities and illuminated by teaching cases. The idea of the self-efficacy feeling presented by senior high school students in the environment of the biology teaching reflects their subjective consciousness and conviction involving whether they can complete their learning effectively or whether they can promote their academic achievements favorably in this teaching environment. This consciousness and conviction are implied in the daily teaching activities made by teachers and the learning life of students; moreover, they are in a dynamic at any time. In Chapter3,360selected senior high school students have been surveyed. The results of questionnaire survey show that the self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students stays at the stage of the average level or above. There exists little difference between different grades and different gender. There exists very close relation between their self-efficacy feeling and major learning variables such as academic achievements, goal setting, learning interest, learning content, examination anxiety, self-adjustment and psychological attribution. In Chapter4, against the affecting factors of the self-efficacy feeling presented in students’bio-learning, three dimensions representing the academic excellence, instability and poor respectively have been classified based on the consideration of external and internal factors, accordingly three representative cases have been selected out as the objectives of the further study. As a result, based on this, the further investigation has been completed and some results different with the previous studies have been found out. In Chapter5, effective cultivating methods used in teaching cases have been summed up, and then some methods with more feasibility have been suggested. The shortcomings are that the theoretical basis for the study is still far from perfect and the depth and scope for the investigation need to be enlarged further. In the end, the cultivation of the self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students and future direction of development has been prospected.In general, the research results have enriched the research connotation involving the self-efficacy feeling of senior high school students, presenting a certain reference and the reference value in helping biology Teachers working in high schools to guide their students’ learning effectively, enhancing students’confidence in learning, promoting the overall development of students and improving the academic performance of senior high school students.
