With the new round of curriculum reform, high school geography teaching will change accordingly. On the advocate of the new curriculum, generative teaching gradually attention in the teaching of geography. A teachers is a guider in teaching activities, also plays an important role in the generative teaching of geography. The teachers’ roles affect the teaching process and results. This report studies the role of teachers in the generative teaching of geography.Generative teaching is the new curriculum reform advocated by the new teaching concept, based on the new standards of curriculum reform, research measures problems selected high school geography teachers in generative teaching role orientation, orientation and location of the specification.This paper reviews the generation of teaching and research status of domestic geography teaching generation at home and abroad, foreign education thought from the earliest naturalism education theory of Dewey to Dole’s post-modern education theory are permeated with the concept of "generation"; while the ancient educational thoughts in China also contains the concept of generative teaching, at present, our country has achieved some results, mainly reflected in the following points:the generative teaching connotation and basic characteristics of the study, "presupposition" and "generation",based on the study on the relationship between dynamic generation teaching design research,"generation" and "generation strategy" study, this paper studied on the "generation strategy", proposed the teacher role of generative teaching in geography, geographical generative teaching strategies. This article through classroom record collection of geography classroom teaching cases, from the specific case analysis of teachers in the teaching process of "generation", which summarizes the teachers "role", namely:the designer and organizer, leader and return, participants and collaborators, facilitator and diagnosis, discovery and appreciation, sharing and innovators, researcher and development. According to the teacher’s roles raising the meaning:generation concept of "difficult" to "easy", highlighting the curriculum standards, production guidance teachers, for students to establish a model of learning. Through the method of classroom observation and questionnaire survey, it summed up the geography teachers in generative teaching role anomie problems, mainly in the following four aspects, problems, namely the selected application of teaching resources, development, teaching designing.According to the geography teachers in teaching the role of implementation strategies:teaching design attention to students leave space for development; the teaching process should pay attention to creating situation, stimulate students to participate in, to the original knowledge as the basis to generate new knowledge, equality of communication; teaching evaluation should be based on whether the development of the students as on the basis of.Generative teaching is the development of the educational requirements, geography teacher in class for their own role to the practice of generative teaching theory, teaching the concept of change, cultivate the individuality, reflect and summarize, generate ceaselessly in practice, in the reflection to generate continuous distillation...
