In the background of traditional examination education, the teachers of Senior history take the responsibility of a teacher of the knowledge, with authority and act as an organizer or a doer to carry out the curriculum-plan, which is not beneficial for developing he students'whole ability and improving the historical accomplishment.This essay sums up some main research result of the Chinese and western exerts on teaching roles. According to the features of Senior history teaching, connecting with personal teaching practice in class. Fix the teacher's role again during the new course reform. As a teacher, who must have a new role consciousness act as an instructor of new pattern of knowledge, meanwhile as a good instructor to convey knowledge to the students. Instruct the ability of learning and learning methods as well as students with the rapid progress of today's science and technology. It's unnecessary for a teacher to know more than his student , so we must have an idea that we can study for all our life a lifelong learner.Therefore on the basis of the plural evaluation system, the teachers recreate personal development plan, constantly refresh self educational, notion enrich and improve own teaching ability. Treat our profession development as a life long, whole general and constant cycle process. The intention of the essay lies in taking advantage of the idea of new teaching reform and convenient teaching conditions, to fulfill the separation of the traditional role of senior history teacher, set up a new and reasonable role of a teacher.
