The game has developed rapidly since it comes into being.With the commercial game to explore the educational value of the game and for the purposes of education and training, as well as games apply to military, medical, government and other non-entertainment fields, the game which related to the field of education began to get more attention. Whether based on game and combine teaching content, or as the main teaching software combining elements of the games, educational games highlight its distinctive educational significance.Educational games with the feature of educational and entertaining, take the game as a carrier, carrying educational content, combine education and entertainment. It appears, on the one hand bring a new direction of development to the commercial game, on the other hand, the game learning impact on traditional teaching and learning methods.Growing prosperity of educational games gradually entered people’s lives and learn, to some extent receives the players’recognition and support, but also brings in some problems. The balance of education and game, and the integration of educational goals and entertainment goals, the selection of educational content, the design of the game environment, the shift of game motivation and so on, questioning and critical negation of sound is also increasing.How to design and optimize the educational game? How to achieve the educational value of the game preferably? Researchers have begun to explore the educational value of the game as well as the inherent mechanism of the game, study the game elements and educational theory, and explore scientific and the complete educational game design theory, and discuss educational games teaching and learning theory.The author through the analysis of educational game research at home and abroad, found that:many educational games’application effect is unsatisfactory. Teaching application-based educational games, on the one hand, improving the learner’s learning enthusiasm and assiting learners learn and get a good learning results; on the other hand, there are still many deficiencies in educational game’s design, the integration and regulation of learning and entertainment can not be perfect, there is a big gap between theory and practice. The author thinks that:game-based learning method- to participate in experiential learning, makes game-based learning can be used as a learning tool. Learning in the context of rich circumstances through active participation are the primary science education and science learning wished-for. Elementary science curriculum is based on the culture of scientific enlightenment courses for the purpose of scientific literacy. Combined primary science with games, for primary school science education, whether it is a positive and valuable attempt? How to design primary science educational games?In this paper, based on the analysis of educational content in primary science, fully consider the characteristics and learning environment of our students, analyse the Conceptual Play Spaces theory and based on which come up with educational game scenario design strategy, and apply that to the design of elementary science educational game, proposed design strategy in elementary science educational game, to promote the design and development of science educational games. Around the theme, this article altogether is divided into six chapters.In this paper, the first chapter describes the background of the research topic and the research significance,and to put forward:elementary science educational games provide a new teaching ideas for primary school science education, and try to allow students to experience learning in the game, and to think for themselves and explore, take the initiative to find and solve the problem.The second chapter analyzes the feasibility of combining primary science and games, and feature of design and development of primary science educational games, as well as the theoretical basis of educational game design;Chapter III analyzes A theory suitable for elementary science educational game design-the Conceptual Play Spaces theory, then proposed scenario design strategy based Conceptual Play Spaces.Chapter IV apply the scenario design strategy based Conceptual Play Spaces to the elementary school science educational game design, and come up with game design strategy of elementary science educational games based on the theory of Conceptual Play Spaces.Chapter V use a primary science educational game " micro city " for example, through the analysis of primary scientific knowledge, based on design steps in primary science educational games which are proposed before specifically design and develop a primary science educational game case. The sixth chapter is a summary of the research, including the main point of this study, the innovation, the limitations and shortcomings, and prospects for the future.
