With the integration of mathematical history and mathematical education being penetrated deeply, and generalized, they are becoming an important field of research. At present time, our researches are mainly focused on analyzing the importance of integration theoretically, and exploring the method to do it. It’s a widespread point that the history of mathematics is very important in mathematical education, we also know that the history of mathematics are involved in some teaching materials. Now, here are some questions:how about the implementation in teaching? What is the reason to affect current integration? How to improve it? In connection with this series of questions, with the help of new courses reformation, this paper arranged and investigated the domestic and international literatures by questionnaires, analyzed the integration circumstances and it’s affecting reasons. We also explored the way to make it better.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is an introduction, which proposed the reason for this topic choice, and a general situation of this research in domestic and international;The second part is focused on the importance of integration, mainly about the historical reason, the understanding of mathematical education, the culture itself and the standard of mathematic course;The third part carried out an investigation about the integration circumstance in reality, including the teacher’s understanding to the importance of mathematical history and the implementation circumstances in classroom. According to our actual mathematical education, referring to the integration, we analyzed its affecting reasons, which are:the restriction of exercises, the appearance of mathematical history itself in teaching materials, the teacher’s ability to master the knowledge of mathematical history and integration method, and the teaching cases based on mathematical history;The fourth part is about exploring of method and route to improve the current circumstances, which compromised:the formation of evaluation based on process increment, construction of a growing archives, pay attention to the reconstruction of mathematical history in teaching materials, improvement of teacher’s knowledge about mathematical history, mastering of the occurrence teaching method and the utilization of information technology, establishing of a HPM team by using for reference to the experience of Taiwan, and research of the teaching cases based on mathematical history;The last part is a conclusion, which summarized the main results of this research, and looked into the future.This paper is aiming to generalize the up to date teaching idea of HPM, reinforce the teacher’s understanding to the integration of mathematical history and junior high school mathematical teaching, introduce the successful experience, improve the efficiency of teaching, carry out the teaching goal, promote a further development of teaching integration, intensify the meaning and importance of HPM in mathematical teaching.
