This paper investigates and analyzes the management situation aboutextracurricular sports activities in some middle schools of Guangzhou through1337students and85teachers from Guangzhou NO.6school, Affiliated Secondary Schoolof Guangzhou University,123Middle School and so on.Firstly, we investigated1337students from some middle schools in Guangzhou,the results showed that there are90.1%schools could have extracurricular sportsactivities, while9.9%schools couldn’t; students who could take part in extracurricularsports activities twice a week accounted for31.6%, students who could take part inextracurricular sports activities three times a week accounted for27.6%; people whowere interested in extracurricular sports activities accounted for61.1%; students’favorite are balls, athletics, wushu, swimming, rope skipping, shuttlecock kicking andgymnastics.Secondly,77.4%students thought their physical educate teachers wereinstructive, and62.4%students were satisfied with their guideness;13.9%studentsbelieved that their head teachers should be responsible on extracurricular sportsactivities;21.6%9th grade students were satisfied with their teachers; among85teachers,63.5%teachers agreed that extracurricular sports activities ran well, while32.9%teachers didn’t know how to check the answer. Based on these statistics, weshould develop sports activities according to different time and different students,only if do that, we can obtain good effect.Thirdly, we can divide sports management modes in break time into boys andgirls two modes, then according to grades we can divide into7th grade,8th grade and9th grade three groups. By this way, students can choose what they like, and theirdifferent interests can be met. What’s more, teacher can improve their instructiveeffect from set or correct different students’ study material.Fourthly, by identifying the layer of management object, layer management candesign corresponding layers management methods, then carry on effective management. Its features are optimizing management and raising efficiency. If we usethis method in extracurricular sports activities of middle school students, we shoulddistribute physical educate teachers into corresponding grades. They should schedulestudents’ extracurricular sports activities and supervise it; head teachers also need tocarry on the plan; and class cadres should be responsible for their head teachers, thenhead teachers should be responsible for physical educate teachers, all this calls layermanagement. Because of the interaction between teachers and students, head teachersneed to promote their conscious activities in extracurricular sports activities.Fifthly, physical basic and special ability are different of9th grade students.Students with different genders and different characteristics are different in requireditems and selected items. So, autonomous management mode is more suitable for9thgrade students in Guangzhou, it can promote students to get better achievements insenior middle school entrance examination. But this mode does not equal to laissezfaire, physical educate teachers should make their partition clear, make court’sdistribution rational, and make professional teacher guide on every items of seniormiddle school entrance examination so that the effect of students take part in theextracurricular sports activities can be guaranteed.
