After school track and field training is an important part of school physical education. Because of its simple, high fitness value, is not affected by the geographical characteristics and space time by people, is the most effective to improve the students’physical health level, one of the most simple and most direct means, should get recognition and promotion. In reality, however, has been ignored by people. Now problem of the physical health of students decline more serious in our country, the school should make full use of their spare the value of track and field training to improve the students’ physical health level, strengthen students’physique, improve student health, and to eliminate obstacles to social development and talent training in our country has irreplaceable function obstacle. This study tries to in reference to previous research, on the basis of part in the Panyu district of Guangzhou city elementary school after school track and field training units with training teachers and athletes as the research object, USES the survey method, mathematical statistics and other research methods, the Panyu district of Guangzhou city16primary schools after school track and field training unit for further investigation and study, from teachers’current situation, athletes to participate in training, training condition, training, security and so on, this paper analysis the following conclusions:1. The Panyu district of Guangzhou city primary school leadership emphasis on after school track and field training is not enough, lack of supervision; Training venues equipment differences between schools; Training ground for plastic runway, the environment is good, but the lack of venue size; A serious shortage of training equipment; The lack of funds, single source, it is difficult to get in touch with society.2.
