Since the founding of new China, there are so many excellent teachers in the field of history teaching. They have been making contribute to the development of history. Through their diligent practice, exploration and reformation, they not only creatively sum up a lot of advanced teaching thoughts and teaching ideas, but also creatively develop many new type teaching modes, teaching contents and teaching methods.This paper mainly based on the teachers in history teaching. Through hard studying, individual interview, comparing to other people’s papers, I investigate on their experience, on the growth of their teaching and on their scientific achievements.After the founding of new China, the first generation of history teachers drew lessons from Soviet history teaching experience, combined with their education experience, explored methods and rules of history teaching in practice in the foundation of the old Chinese history teaching. All these laid a solid foundation for constructing the teaching system of new China history area. Their life experiments and teaching philosophy lead the development of the teaching of history education in this period. The second generation of history teachers had made promotion of "quality education" in the background through the reform of history teaching in middle school. Through continuous exploration, hard train, and innovation, they had been on the basis of their predecessors, learned widely from others’ strong points, and formed its own teaching style. It can be said that they had played an important role in the teaching reform of history education. The third generation of history teachers have being reformed basic education in the new century to promote the history teaching through combining with its own experience, In fact, they have become the main force to promote the new curriculum reform. They have being in the process of exploration and practice of the new curriculum, And they have achieved positive results in certain, such as the advanced teaching concepts, the reflection on the traditional history teaching model.Three generation of history teaching teachers have made devotion to the development of history education. They have playing different role under the different background and have made a significant contribution to history teaching in middle school.
