The history of ethnic minorities is an important part of Chinese history,the writing of minority nationalities in the history textbooks of middle school plays an important role in the process of the formation and development of the Chinese nation and the cultivation of students' family feelings.Minority research in middle school history textbooks are important in academic research,the history and reality of education etc.With the continuous development of the curriculum reform,it is an important task for the middle school history education to compile the textbooks of middle school which adapt to the new era.Therefore,this paper takes the middle school history textbook in different periods since the founding of new China as the research text,carding the changes of minority nationalities in textbooks,and getting inspiration from the pros and cons of the past seventy years,to provide reference for the compilation of textbooks and the historical education in the future.On the writing of minority nationalities in the middle school history textbooks since the founding of new China,under the influence of many factors,such as the academic research,the environment of the times and the development of education,different periods have different characteristics.The author takes the Cultural Revolution as the boundary,divides the minority nationality writing in the textbook into two periods.From the "identity",the basic situation and the relationship between ethnic minorities,the paper cards the changes of minority nationalities in textbooks,and analyzes the changes of the historical view,the compiling principles and the educational ideas embodied in the textbooks.In the end,the author summarizes the experience and deficiency of minority nationality writing in the past seventy years,and throw out a suggestion on the compilation of textbooks in the new period.The pros and cons of textbook compilation,often with distinctive characteristics of the times,the author hopes to deepen the cognition of the change of Chinese social thought since the founding of the People's Republic of China.The writing of the history of minority nationalities is closely related to the Chinese nation,the author also hopes to experience the development track of the Chinese nation in the past seventy years from the changes in the writing of ethnic minorities.
