Starting from the properties and characteristics of art education, this paper is going to focus on the interdynamic development of art education and establishment of campus culture in elementary school. The interactive correlation between art education and establishment of campus culture will be studied and explored based on theoretical research and practical teaching experiences. The diverse practice of art activities enable the students to build a sprightly and vivacious campus culture while enjoying their presentations and cooperations in the process.Education is the process of culture formation. While art curriculum is a culture carrier, it is one kind of culture itself. Students learn and understand art in the context of culture while by learning art student can experience the influence of culture. Therefore, campus culture should not be limited to the culture of "wall clippers" or "pictures in the frames". On the other hand, the culture, which must be created by the students, should be dynamic, transferable, and even heritable.Many surface phenomena of art are formed when the elementary school students experience their lives. Through the continuous, rich experience of art world in the life, the author believes art education should be undergone under the context of campus culture. By combining art teaching and the establishment of campus culture, presenting curriculums with vivid and diversified art forms and teaching method, and broadening the content of classes, art curriculums and children’s life experiences can be closely interconnected. In this way, students can grasp the unique value of art in everyday life, enhance their aesthetic taste, and activate their learning motive. By conducting varied forms art teaching, children develop strong interests in learning and produce an abundant amount of art pieces in various forms, which fill the campus with spirit and vitality.Teachers and students create a high quality campus environment, while the environment nurtures the students and teachers. This creates a positive and virtuous interactive relationship.
