Since Senior High School New Curriculum Reform was launchedin2004, a dozen provinces and cities such as Shandong, Nixia, Guangdong,Hainan have joined this campaign. In2010, Sichuan Province joined HighSchool New Curriculum Reform as well. As a National Exemplary High School inSichuan, Luzhou High School has begun to implement the reform. This reformpumps life into the class and meanwhile raises new requirements. High SchoolInformation Technology Curriculum Standards evidently points out that:"Thegeneral purpose is to improve students’ capability in information technology.Besides, knowledge and techniques, process and methods, emotion, attitudeand values are three dimensional purposes of this course. The major teachingmethod is Duty Actuation." At the same time, the correct application of DutyActuation is particularly emphasized. Then how can we make the three purposespenetrate into and relate to each other in order to effectively improve students’capability in information technology? These questions are going to be solved inthis paper.This paper applies documentary method and is based on case studymethod in investigation. The subject of this paper is the thirty-six classes of thefirst grade of Luzhou High School. The thirty-six classes are divided into threedifferent levels, top-student class, experimental class, educational reform class.Therefore, the sample survey need to be carried out in the three levels andanalyzed afterwards. The analysis will be conducted in the three aspects, studyenvironment, students and teachers. The present situation of Duty ActuationTeaching Method in the course of information technology at senior high school is to be examined. And majors problems and the relevant causes are found out:too much importance attached to the teaching of knowledge, teaching tasks arerestricted to the practice of knowledge, facts rather than methods are presented,little emotion is involved in the course. To conclude, this is because the ThreeDimensional Purposes are not completely implemented and students’ capabilityin the information technology is not effectively improved either.In order to solve these questions, this paper is going to use two teachingcases to stress that Duty Actuation Teaching Method should pay attention to notonly knowledge but also techniques in the process of teaching; Meanwhile,teaching methods need to be improved so that students can study with higherinterest; And what is taking place outside the classroom should be include in theteaching, so students’ character will be developed. In the three ways, the threedimensional purposes will be centered on. Students’s capability in this course isgoing to be heightened and the requitements of New Curriculum Reform will bemet.
