Research And Development Center Districts Old Community Sports

Under the rapid development of the economy, the proportion of residents who are willing to do exercise is elevated. Through investigation of some social residents, problems and conditions of the development of community sports are found. Mainly we use literatures, questionnaire survey, interviews, on-the-sport investigation, mathematical, logical analysis, comparison, and some other methods to investigate the sports facilities、sports funds、activities that these communities have, and further to analyze the sports concept they share. The results are as follows:1、In the central urban areas and old communities in Tianjin, we find basically equal number of women to men are willing to do sports regularly. Most of them are in the middle and old age, and share salaries below average.2、Sports fields and facilities are apparently rare and inadequate in the old communities of Tianjin. While apart from some colleges, sports fields and facilities in the primary and secondary schools of the area are normally beyond the resident’s reach.3、Physical educators in these areas are mainly administrative staff, and real sports specialties are quite rare. this is far from meeting the needs of the residents.4、Most sports events are for middle and old aged women who have quite fixed spare time, and these events are mainly fitness events and dance.5、Through interviews and investigations, we find the sports funds in these communities are mainly supported by government, or self funded, only a few communities can find sponsors. This amount of money is not enough to serve the needs of developing the community sport.
