Middlevocationalschools perform teaching of professional theory and skills as well as the academic course; bring up expertise with certain professional skills. Mathematics is thefoundation of professionalcourses andcultural literacy.Mathematics teachingin middle vocational school need to not onlymeet the basic teaching requirements, but also provide the necessary mathematical preparation for students to further learning,especially needtoservethe current professional teaching. Vocational education training goal is tobring up"Applied Model" talents, the mathematics teachingneeds to followthefeatures of vocational education on the two points:1)qualityimprovement,intellectual development and abilities formations;2)highlight the service functions for the professional courses to achieve thegoal of application for the purpose with the necessaryeffort".Mathematics teaching in middle vocational schoolmust meet the basic mathematical literacy and basic mathematical needs toserve the professional courses and it must focus onthe career development, to adapt to students ’professional learning requirements, and adapt to students’accept ability. At the same time, the currentclassroom teaching model need to be changed or elsethe currentmathematics teaching status would not be improved tomeet the developmentneedsof vocational education.Based on thegoals ofvocational education and characteristics of middlevocational students, this article discusseshow touse discovery learning methods inmiddlevocational mathematics teaching, andapplymultimedia environment in learning activities, to develop students’practical and innovative abilities.Thisarticle elaborates the importance of the subject, focus on the studying on the historical background and current research status, and defines the related concepts.Based on theConstructivism learning, effectiveTeaching Philosophy andPrinciple of Readiness, it also analyzes the activities through the subject practice, and proposes theexperimental strategies and experimental design, discusses the impact to thestudents’ mathematics learning. Finally,it discussed thefurther reflection on the problems and deficienciesofthe practice to makethe subjectto be continuously improved and systematic.Disco verylearning in Middle vocational schools changes the learning styles formathematics, to improve the abilities of students on problem identifying, problem observing and problem resolving, fostersthe habit of independent thinking and tomotive the students’ sense of innovation.Thisarticle talks about the education for today’s social talentsand the mathematics education,etc.,thus havingsome practicalimportance.
