With the development of market economy, school-enterprise cooperation betweenhigher vocational colleges and the corresponding enterprises reflects the characteristics ofcolleges’ teaching, and has already become a common present situation. School-enterprisecooperation can solve the contradiction between school personnel training and theemployee requirement of enterprises by making a smooth joint between the graduates andvacant posts, and the state also issued relevant documents to promote the cooperationbetween schools and enterprises. There are many ways of school-enterprise cooperation,for example, technical service, order training, building practice bases together, developingteaching materials, and so on, the most important part of which is school-enterprisecooperation teaching. School-enterprise cooperation teaching is the process of personneltraining and teaching with the participation of both the school side and the enterprise side.Specifically, it means the teaching process of cultivating practice-oriented talents for postdevelopment needs, by making personnel training plans together, preparing lessonstogether, making research together, and teaching together by full-time teachers of collegesand part-time teachers from enterprises on the basis of market demands and mutualbenefits of colleges and enterprises.The thesis takes Shandong Vocational College for example, makes research on itspresent condition of school-enterprise cooperation teaching by questionnaire surveymethod and case study method. By tracking the process of school-enterprise cooperationteaching of two courses,“Public Space Design” and “Construction and Maintenance ofRailways and Bridges”, the thesis makes a conclusion of various experiences ofschool-enterprise cooperation teaching, discovers some problems of it, analyses possiblereasons behind those problems, takes a rethink of the discoveries of the research, andmakes relevant suggestions on the basis of the research discoveries. This research couldgive ideas and suggestions for future development of school-enterprise cooperationteaching in higher vocational colleges, make reference of the development andmanagement of colleges’ teaching staff, provide useful methods and guidance of effectivecooperation between full-time teachers of colleges and part-time teachers from enterprises,and promote teachers’ introspection of their teaching behavior.The research consists of four different parts. The first part is “A survey study ofschool-enterprise cooperation teaching in Shandong Vocational College”. First, it makesan introduction of the general situation of the cooperation between Shandong VocationalCollege and corresponding enterprises. Then, three questionnaires are made for full-timeteachers of the college, part-time teachers from enterprises, as well as students of thecollege. By analyzing college’s policy and the results of the questionnaires, the thesismakes a conclusion of college’s, enterprises’, and students’ cognition and attitude towardsschool-enterprise cooperation teaching, reveals the current situation of school-enterprisecooperation teaching in Shandong Vocational College.The second part is “A case study of school-enterprise cooperation teaching inShandong Vocational College”. The research focuses on two major courses, one of whichis “Public Space Design” and the other one is “Construction and Maintenance of Railwaysand Bridges”, and it also focuses on four teachers from college and enterprises who are incharge of the two courses separately. By observation method and interviewing method, the paper makes a tracking study of the two courses’ teaching process, and selects somerepresentative fragments to show some of the many prospects of the teaching process inthe form of cases, for instants, the preparation of teaching, the process of a class teaching,a rethink after class teaching, and so on.The third part is “Analysis of the results based on the survey study and case study ofschool-enterprise teaching”. By showing the results of the research from previous twoparts, the thesis makes a conclusion of the achievements of school-enterprise cooperationteaching in Shandong Vocational College, and points out some main problems of presentschool-enterprise cooperation teaching. Then, the thesis makes a detailed analysis of somecontradictive respects, for example, it analyses the cooperative aspects of presentschool-enterprise cooperation teaching, the compatibility stage of the cooperation, theemphases and key points of the cooperation, teaching resources for school-enterprisecooperation teaching, instructional objectives of the cooperation, as well as teachingassessment of present school-enterprise cooperation teaching. After that, the thesis alsomakes a deep thought into possible reasons behind those contradictive respects.The last part is “Introspection of carrying out school-enterprise cooperation teaching”.This part builds on the basis of former research and discoveries, analyses the effects andforeground of school-enterprise cooperation teaching, teases daily cooperation’s possibleinfluence on cooperation teaching between full-time teachers of colleges and part-timeteachers from enterprises, and ponders over role positioning and function of teachers inschool-enterprise cooperation teaching. In connection with former research results, thethesis provides effective suggestions for promoting the effect of school-enterprisecooperation teaching, and gives a detailed explanation on the respect of four levels, that is,teachers, colleges, enterprises, and society.At the end of the thesis, the deficiency and shortage of the research is pointed out,and the paper also gives some new directions and views of subsequent research in thefuture. By trying to show some prospects of school-enterprise cooperation teachingprocess, the thesis aims to resonant across current educational circle and society, as wellas to call on the whole society to pay close attention and comprehend the need to propelschool-enterprise cooperation teaching.
