With the popularity of electrical devices, parents and organisations, who are used to conductchildhood education through traditional medium, start using new electrical devices; among them,the usage of tablet is most evident. Lots of developing teams are shifting to develop apps forchildhood education, while musical education, as a vital component in early childhood education,becomes the focus for many parents and organisations.However, from the early stage aftertablets’ coming into being, there are arguments considering whether it is appropriate for childrento use them, and further more, bring them into the operation of childhood education. Taking fromanother angle, because there are sensor devices in these tablets, by using more powerfulinteractive applications, it is beneficial for the development of children’s intelligence and abilityto participate.Based on these research background, this paper is going to explore in following two directions:research of new tablet devices, especially those hardware devices tailored for children, andmulti-dimensional research of ability, interest and perception of3-6-year-old children.By case-studying of specific apps, here to find an app design which is appropriate to apply inchildren’s musical education; at the same time, tackle the problem that parents are conflicting andconcerned towards tablet devices, under relatively reasonable circumstances.
