Cultivating students’ learning ability and establishing the concept of lifelonglearning concept have become one of the most important goals of school educationreform. By studying the questionnaire feedback, this paper tries to find thedifferences in learning abilities of the arts and science students. Combined with thecharacteristics of liberal arts and science students, teaching, training and otheraspects of the countermeasures, medical institutions could provide importantreference to improve students’ learning ability,to encourge medical college studentsof Arts and science the consciousness of lifelong learning, which is of greatsignificance in improving the quality of learning,so to realize the sustainabledevelopment of the whole society.Objects and methods:Objects: Changchun Medical College (hereinafter referred to as the juniorcollege of Medicine).Full time students of Arts and science students.Methods:1. This study were investigated with questionnaire,developed by Lin Guoyao"College Students’ learning ability scale" on the basis of the adapted questionnaire.2. Arts and science students of basic medical courses grades.Results:1. No significant gender differences, students of Arts and science learningability grade difference (P>0.05). The students of knowledge and learning ability,self-regulated learning ability difference of differences, differences in learning,resource management and application ability of learning scores, no significantdifference (P>0.05).2. Different professional arts students and science students learning ability significantly (P <0.05). Differences in medical professional arts students and sciencestudents learning ability significantly (P <0.05).Nursing of liberal arts students and science students ability to learn thedifference was not significant (P>0.05).3. Differences in non student cadre and student cadres of the students of Artsand science learning ability was not significant (P>0.05). Learning ability betweenthe students of Arts and science from different areas was not significant (P>0.05).High differences in learning ability admission scores of liberal arts and sciencestudents learning ability and just after admission scores of the students of Arts andscience was not significant (P>0.05).Before the differences in learning ability admission scores of liberal arts andscience students were significantly (P <0.05).Different cultural degree of parents has no obvious influence on the learningability of students of Arts and science difference (P>0.05).4. Liberal arts students non students cadres and cadre of students learningability was not statistically significant (P>0.05).Liberal arts students from differentregions had no statistical significance (P>0.05) on the learning ability.5. Statistical significance of science students non students cadres and cadre ofstudents learning ability (P <0.05). A significant area from different science studentslearning ability (P <0.05),From the urban and suburban towns and suburban townsand suburbs rural science students learning ability were significantly different (P<0.05),Different from the urban and suburban rural science students learning abilitywas not significant (P>0.05). The entrance scores different science students learningability analysis results were statistically significant (P <0.05), higher than theadmission scores a lot with just after admission scores and just passed and noadmission scores were significantly different (P <0.05), and higher than thedifference in admission scores and no admission scores of science students learningability is not significant (P>0.05)6. Analysis of different professional arts and science students of basic medical courses grades. Nursing, nursing (English) professional, arts and science studentsdifferences between subjects of basic medical courses scores were not statisticallysignificant (P>0.05). The medical profession, statistically significant results,organization of basic medical courses in various grades embryology of pathogenicbiology and Immunology achievement differences between arts and science students(P <0.05).7. Analysis of different grade the students basic medical courses grades.Statistically significant performance differences between histology and Embryologyscience students the basic medical courses in (P <0.05) between five other culturalscience students scores were not statistically significant (P>0.05). Basic medicalcourses scores between the big two science students were not statistically significant(P>0.05).8. Analysis of different courses in Arts and science students. The differencebetween arts and science students in basic medical courses scores were notstatistically significant (P>0.05).Conclusions:1. Arts and science Medical College students’s learning ability shows nodifference in gender, student cadre or not, hometowns, the educational level ofparents, grades, entrance examination and admission scores, knowledge acquisitionand application abilities, self-regulated learning abilities, learning resourcesmanagement and application abilities, etc.2. Medical college liberal arts and science students’s learning ability isgenerally not very high, mostly in the middle or lower level.3. The learning ability of medical professional science students is generallyhigher than the liberal arts students; science students normally achieve higher scoresthan liberal arts students.4. Among the makeup of the students, science students have better learningskills than arts students. 5. The learning ability of science students in Medical College is positivelycorrelated to the post of the student cadre, the students’ hometown and theit entranceexamination scores.
