| As a social composition whose subjects are human beings, the community is the vital canal that connects between individuals and the society. And the development of it is of great significance both to the society and the residents. Due to the indispensable participation of the individuals in the course of construction and development of the community, it is not neglected that the roles and the functions of the community participation that is people oriented in the development of the community. In this dissertation, as for a directionally pastoral community which is converted by the influence of the nomadic life to the directional life, it worths concerning of the present situation of the residential participation of a community. Besides, the population of the community studied are composed principally of elderly settled-herdsmen, so, researching on the community participation of the group helps to the comprehension of the participational situation of the directionally pastoral community in local.The research manifests that there are distinguished participational effects to varied communities, resulting from different participational willingnesses and frequencies possessed by different elderly settled herdsmen, which are differ from genders and ages in Sunan country. Based on this problem, the paper adopts to combine the methods of quantitative research and qualitative research, applying the social theories of community participation and gerontology to analyze the field survey. To start with the three dimensions, namely, the effect of community participation; the level of community participation and the effect of community participation, the paper will carries on a further analysis of the contribution of local elderly settled herdsmen to the community participation with the degrees of the three aspects above. And whether this kind of effect exists distance directly from the real subject chased by community participation, which will be reflected after the analysis in this paper. |
